New Orleans Police Department has arrested another person accused of helping escaped inmates.
Around 3 p.m, investigators executed a high-risk warrant at a home in New Orleans East and discovered that one of the occupants may have aided some of the inmates after the escape.
According to investigators, four people were inside the home and were taken in for questioning.
After questioning, one of the occupants, Emmitt Weber, was arrested for allegedly aiding two of the escapees.
Weber is being charged with accessory after the fact of simple escape.
