Bond set for three people accused of helping escaped inmates

Three people accused of helping some of the inmates who escaped the Orleans Parish jail have had their bonds set.

Tyshanea Randolph, Lenton Vanburen Sr. and Patricia Vanburen were in Magistrate Court Wednesday morning where their bonds were set.

All are facing charges of accessory after the fact in connection with helping escaped inmate Lenton Vanburen.

Lenton Vanburen was arrested in Baton Rouge Monday night and is being held at Angola without bond.

Randolph was given a $1 million bond, Lenton Vanburen Sr. was given a $1 million bond as well as a $2,500 bond for a theft charge, and Patricia Vanburen was given a $1 million bond.

Randolph and Patricia Vanburen are due in court again on July 23. Lenton Vanburen Sr.’s next court date is July 22.
