Three men have been arrested in Tangipahoa Parish after an investigation into child sex abuse materials online.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began tracking a suspect uploading child sex abuse materials.
The files were then shared and traded with other users over multiple platforms.
According to the task force, Jimmy Dale Pierce, 47, of Kentwood, initially uploaded the material and a search of his electronic device confirmed he was in possession of the child sexual abuse material.
Pierce was arrested on May 19 and is being charged with 24 counts of pornography involving juveniles under 13.
At the same time, the task force received another tip in a separate case regarding child sexual abuse materials online.
Through investigation, they were able to identify David Bonfiglio, 27, of Tickfaw as the suspect. He is being charged with 3 counts of pornography involving juveniles under 13.
They received another tip, which led to the arrest of Logan Andrews, 20, of v. He was charged with 2 counts of pornography involving juveniles.
