Here’s the zone where tropical development could happen

By Local Stories Full Jun 2, 2025 | 3:41 PM

The system off the east coast has been downgraded to a low 0% chance of development over the next two and seven days by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) off the coast of the Southeastern U.S.

Forecast data show the parent circulation moving over the Southeastern U.S. and into the Atlantic over the next few days, but our forecast data show little in the way of strengthening and organization.

Regardless if it develops or not, it will not have any direct impact on Louisiana.
