Man sought, accused of kidnapping, robbing man who gave him a ride

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a suspect accused in a kidnapping and armed robbery that happened in Harahan last month.

According to JPSO, the incident is also being investigated by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

On May 12, deputies responded to the incident in the 5100 block of Citrus Boulevard.

According to JPSO, the suspect asked the victim for a ride. The victim agreed, and the suspect entered the car with another younger man who pulled what the victim believed was a gun.

The victim was then robbed and forced to drive to a bank in St. Charles Parish to withdraw more money from an ATM.

The victim said the men forced him to drive back to Jefferson Parish where they ran away.
